Courtney & Emiel, Belgium

Sometimes one bouquet is the whole story.

Not every wedding needs a full room of flowers. Sometimes it's one bouquet, made to carry everything that matters.

Courtney wanted her favorite flowers in her hands on the day, nothing borrowed from a trend or a moodboard. We talked about what those flowers meant to her before we talked about how they'd look.

Sometimes one bouquet is the whole story.

Manu made the whole experience so personal and thoughtfully incorporated our favorite flowers, creating a bouquet that felt so meaningful and tied everything together beautifully.

Kelly & Stephan, Slot Moermond, Renesse

A bouquet full of the flower she grew up with, an ocean away.

Dahlias were Kelly's flower before anything else was. She grew up in the States, in a garden where they came back every autumn, and she knew the colors before she knew their name.

When She and Stephan started planning their wedding at Slot Moermond, that was the only place to start after a couple other visits of venues.

We talked about the light in October. Low, gold, already leaning toward evening. The dahlias decided the rest.

The bouquet held them at their fullest. Burnt orange, wine red, soft yellow. The same colors from that garden, years and an ocean away.

The ceremony aisle and the tables held the rest, quieter, so the room could do what a castle in autumn already knows how to do.
