Bloom in Community is a gathering around flowers, shaped by the season and the people who come together. We work with what is growing, explore colour and texture, and create something of our own along the way.
You don't need experience or a perfect plan. Just a little curiosity, a willingness to try, and a couple of hours to spare.

How the gathering unfolds
You arrive at a table dressed for the season, with flowers, foliage and the things we'll work with that day. There's no experience needed and no pressure to get it right.
We begin by looking at the flowers, noticing their shapes, colours and textures. Then you start arranging, trying things out and finding your own way of working with what's in front of you.
As the gathering unfolds, the table fills with flowers and conversation. You leave with something you've made yourself, and perhaps a new connection or two as well.

HOW I WORK
Foam free and rooted in nature
I create with the natural shape of each stem in mind, using reusable mechanics instead of floral foam. Chicken wire helps support the flowers while allowing them to move and settle into their own shapes.It is a thoughtful way to work with the materials, let the flowers lead, and create arrangements that feel natural and alive.

What happens when a table becomes a canvas?
In Table Studies, we explore flowers, textiles, colour and form to create one collective artistic tablescape. Each material brings something different, and every contribution becomes part of a bigger picture.
This is a space to experiment, exchange ideas and discover what happens when we create together. There is no single vision to follow, but a shared process of bringing different elements together to create something unexpected.

A little time for flowers, a change of pace, and something made by hand.
Join me at Lola Bikes & Coffee in The Hague for a gathering around seasonal flowers. This time, we’ll be arranging our flowers in a coffee mug, giving an everyday object a new life as a vessel for your floral creation.
Bring your own coffee mug to make your arrangement in. The size details will be shared with you by email before the workshop.
We’ll explore the colours and shapes of the season, arrange flowers in our own way, and enjoy the simple pleasure of creating something together.
Whether you come on your own or with a friend, there’s room at the table for you.
